HybridxReality
Haven't seen either of these, but Sicario looks so damn good. I've checked the ratings and they're very high. Ever since I saw the trailer, I knew it would be a great movie. Need to watch that. Second is Anomalisa. Believe it's in select theaters right now, but that looks really great as well. Rip
I would add the movie Moon to that list +1 for moon. ex machina is good sci-fi as well. Yeah, Moon and especially Ex Machina are fantastic films. All of this. thebilljim
I've started watching Dexter again. Last time I watched it, I never got past the 2nd season, now I'm midway through 4.
Brock N Roll
I've started watching Dexter again. Last time I watched it, I never got past the 2nd season, now I'm midway through 4. Stop after season 4 and save yourself the agony.
dantheriver
Stop after season 4 and save yourself the agony. Seriously.
TheGhostOfRandySavage
Yeah, Moon and especially Ex Machina are fantastic films. And even though it's a TV series, I'd add Black Mirror to that list. Black Mirror was he and miss for me. I liked about half the episodes. GHOSTDRONES
Yeah. The 1st four episodes are online and just powered through them. I read the books so i was stoked on watching this. It's getting good. Not sure, if you read the 1st book, but it seems to be following it fairly faithfully. It's got it work cut out for it with trying to capture the complexity of the space-o-political climate and interpersonal relationships, while telling 3 "separate" stories at the start. However, i am pleased. I wasn't too thrilled on actor playing Holden at first, but he's growing on me. In the book Chrisjen swears up a storm, so sadly, we she wont be dropping any F-bombs on SyFy. The person who does her voice in the audiobook is awesome. There are only ten episodes in the season, so it should be an intense pace if they plan on covering all the main plot points in the whole 1st book. Definitely enjoying it so far, and I read the books.
llamaface
I don't think I can ever watch Dexter again. It had some great moments, but looking back I have no interest in it anymore. Maybe the really good parts are tainted by all the junk... too bad. Watched Alice in Wonderland last night for the first time in forever. It's still good. Breezus
Black Mirror was he and miss for me. I liked about half the episodes. Only one I didn't like was Waldo. The rest haunted me for days.
thebilljim
Just finished S4 of Dexter last night...I'm gonna keep going, because I do love a good trainwreck and I'm curious to see just how bad it actually gets. That being said, the S4 finale would have been a perfect cap for the show.

Bladewillisisdead
My buddy hated it, but he's like you, he likes nothing. I didn't hate it. It's a proficiently .are genre film. It's just so basic that if you have any interest I'm the genre you can see where it's headed from the start.
batman
re: ex machina: it was a basic story, but it was well written/acted and had some great dialogue. all of the "interview" scenes were fantastic. spoilers at one point I even began to think he was an AI. I thought he was going to discover it when he started slicing his wrists.
anthemforadoomed
I was surprised by how good Ex Machina was. The ads for it made it look really corny, but it asked some interesting questions and had some great twists and turns.
ronniegwilliams
Caught The Big Short last night and loved it. Great cast, incredible cinematography and great use of the fourth wall. I'll pretty much endorse anything that has Gosling, Bale, and Pitt in the same flick.

I'll pretty much endorse anything that has Gosling, Bale, and Pitt in the same flick. I really thought it was great except for some of the choices the director made, in regards to some of the quick edits and breaking the fourth wall. Rip
watched sunshine by danny boyle. wow. some awesome cinematography, but what a dumb movie. I personally absolutely loved Sunshine. Most people really didn't like it though for some reason.
