SHHHHH) but everything is stupid expensive except for Jersey lol My brother and his wife went before they got married. They "rented" a place from someone for a few days. Not sure what that would be called. Way cheaper than a hotel, and they got the "New York" apartment living. lol I can ask him if that interests you. I did it when I went to Seattle/Portland and it was awesome. In Portland we stayed in a little cabin in the woods and Seattle we stayed in the bottom floor of an older woman's house. My next door neighbor, who I've only ever seen in person twice, has a bunny. He was outside cleaning its cage one day and it was hopping around. When I came outside to get the trash he immediately packed up and went inside. The other incident, we both came out at the exaxt same time, we locked eyes and he turned a 180, went right back inside and I heard him lock the door. he never leaves!!
