I was listening to the radio today and they were talking about a study done in England and were stating the results as fact. It was one study that showed some correlation. Correlation =/= causation. abovetheearth Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 never before have i got vaccinations of any kind. i dont believe in them...i dont trust them. my girls ped. dr said i need to get the flu shot and whooping cough one. whooping cough can kill a child under 48 months, and right now theres a serious outbreak in my town. god only knows WTF i got going thru me now, but i did it for her..no doubt. The news has to draw people in, so they do tend to make things seem more extreme than they are. It can be very annoying, especially when you read about the study or whatever and then get told by someone who only heard the teaser as if they know what they're talking about. The flu shot is the best guess by pharmaceutical companies as to which strain of flu will be the dominant one this year.
