Dude, picking one Sabbath album was hard as fuck. Master > S/T > Paranoid > Vol. IV > Sabbath Bloddy Sabbath. I know you feel my pain.

I love master, but there's just something about s/t that really does it for me. Mostly I think it's my love of wizards. ::shrug:: 29 year old kid, here.

Dude, I go back and forth between the two so often. It's so hard to pick between those. If I had to pick between two Sabbath albums ever, it would easily be those two though.

I'm late to the party, but it was interesting to see everyone's top 10 list.

Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American

Samiam - Astray

Indian Summer - Science '94

Reuben - In Nothing We Trust

American Football - American Football
Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One
Bloc Party - Silent Alarm

I know it's only seven, but I can't think of any other albums that are on par with these (except other album by these bands).

Its almost time for work and almost 5am but I put together a half asleep top 10..

AFI - Black Sails In The Sunset

Alkaline Trio - Good Mourning

The Cure - Disentegration

Converge - Jane Doe

Owen - No Good For No One Now

NOFX - Punk In Drublic

The Smiths - Louder Than Bombs

BTBAM - Colors

Coheed and Cambria - The Second Stage Turbine Blade

Caspian - Tertia

This is in no particular order. And I really went for what I would choose on a deserted island. I think these 10 would give me enough variety to not lose my mind over time. Have a good day kids.

Half this list, agrees with my heart. The other half I'm not really familiar with.

Nirvana is one of those bands I just somehow couldn't get crazy about. Every time I've tried listening to an album of theirs I can't finish it. Idk why. They definitely fall in the category of "Really important and I recognize their talent and influence but I can't get into them." :(

I'd be curious to see what members of this board who really really like extreme metal think of Unexpect.

Nirvana is cool. I live with their drummer.
