So I walked into my local record store yesterday and they've had Gravity there for quite awhile but I was flipping through the soundtracks section and noticed that some dickhead slit open the side of it to check if it was variant. It wasn't therefor he didn't buy it. Fucking prick

It's possible that he asked the clerk, but probably not.

There was a record store here in Charleston, SC (they were open 2 years-and were a branch from an upper state chain) Earshot. And towards the end the owner was opening all of the DeathWaltz stuff to see if it they were variants. He had gotten lucky a couple of times before with DeathWaltz stuff, so had I. I just thought that was funny.

Yeah, there was a shop named Earshot Music that was located on Savannah Hwy. across from the newish Chick Fil-A (in West Ashley)(like a street over from Monster) and they were a pretty good little shop. I remember when he was selling Death Waltz "Deadly Spawn" like all of the copies he got were the variants. And I bought the 3x7" of the Death Waltz TV themes from him on RSD one year and I ended up getting a mispress that I added to Discogs.

"someone" ::cough, cough:: ;)

Ha! I wish I had that level of testicular fortitude in the workplace! Leads me to believe it's a manager in particular that I know sells records on ebay. I was looking behind our t-shirt selection one night, to plug up the vacuum, and there was a stock pile of rare records, variants, and record store day exclusives.

Oh yeah! By the time I heard about them they were closing

That Batman looks excellent! I'm in for that one.
