You may be saying this as a joke, but I actually do miss the younger days of their vinyl label. The randomly inserted variants made the "chase" much more exciting, plus releases were farther in between and much easier on the wallet. I gave up on the variant collection soon after the DW merger. Just couldn't keep up. That being said, their current direction shows they were definitely listening to the general consensus (complainig) from their fans regarding the way they released variants. Yeah, both were at events...but I think the con will have a significantly larger turn out than a gallery opening.
