jipc
I do love FT as much as the next... but preorder in January for a record released in April! Understand that hes giving the opportunity to book advance tickets for shows with PO but it seems a little obsurd. Maybe its just me :/

selfreliable
Has any of his albums sold out before release? I dont even think any of the limited versions that were pressed to 300 even sold out before the actual street date. I dont get the idea of a pre-order unless you know it is going to sell incredibly quick. Ill just wait to pick this up in a store when it comes. GradedOnACurve
Only the last LP the Green sold out before street date and that was /750. He's blown up recently and the OOP versions have been selling pretty high over the past year or two. You can pick up black versions of his LP's fairly easy. Scruffy...the janitor
He played Polaroid Picture in SF on the last tour. It was a pretty great song if I remember correctly.

toxicity
I'm as stoked as I can be for this, after the mixed bag that was England Keep My Bones.
marc32137
In case no one heard the news, Tape Deck Heart will be out on Interscope in the US. Pre-orders start 3/5, according to the press release.
booms528
Probably no limited/colored pressings, then...? Oh well, it's still my most anticipated release this year.
emptyhanded
I'm as stoked as I can be for this, after the mixed bag that was England Keep My Bones. this, I love his earlier stuff, but EKMB was pretty weak. Some good songs, one or two great ones, and then some stinkers.

marc32137
Interscope usually doesn't do color versions, right? Unless maybe Travis is cooking up something?

GradedOnACurve
Saw him tonight and hes always fantastic. Iffy on the new songs though but I'm ordering regardless.
lfisher
Ordered... despite the fact that most of his new stuff doesn't make me sit up and scream "ME TOO!!! That's MY life, too!". The new stuff is, musically, very solid... much more so than his earlier stuff; it just doesn't get the same gutteral reaction from me, as with SIFTW and LI&S. Still stoked to hear this. I sort of felt this way until i saw him live and before he played Peggy Sue Sang The Blues he talked about how it was about his grandmother and mine had passed pretty recently before that. After that i connected with that whole album pretty strong.
