tmurray87
I too work at a Best Buy (with a Mag store inside) I was able to OMS (order one) for the 150 to be shipped to store, so you may need to go in and have the store check OMS for you. We didnt have any in stock nor did any in NJ but I should have it by the 13th.

tmurray87
What is OMS?OMS is the store system of ordering items they don't have in stock from a central warehouse. It's an app in the computer if you walk in and ask any person at a counter they can load it up and get you it as long as you have the SKu

jtcohenour
I picked up a vintage radio this last week that I plan on restoring. I restored a console stereo last summer so this should be an easier project. This is a pic of the model I picked up. Mine is in much rougher shape. jase

xxmartinxx
After much internal struggle, I just bit the bullet and bought a Sutherland PH3D phono preamp. I can't wait to get it.
tmurray87
Went today, they said it shows up as unavailable. I just picked mine up today and it says it is still available in the system, so maybe it depends on if the person read the screen correctly. Maybe try another Best Buy? That internal struggle will subside as soon as you hear the unit Good buy!
xxmartinxx
That internal struggle will subside as soon as you hear the unit Good buy! The struggle was between it, the Insight, and the 20/20. Eventually, I'll probably upgrade to the 20/20.

problemchild
This guy arrived today: Very very very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended turntable (it's a Marantz TT-15S1 if anyone's wondering). Now I'm just waiting on my new towers... dethrock, BigSeth, JumpingBean and 1 other

problemchild
Always loved that table. Which speakers? And amp?Marantz SR6008 for an amp, and I've currently got a pair of Polk RTi-A7's, but any day now I'll be the proud owner of Sonus Faber Venere 2.5's.I think once those speakers arrive, I'll be sticking with this setup for quite a while. Can't wait!
ajxd
I recently bought some Sonus Faber 1.5s. Love em.
problemchild
I recently bought some Sonus Faber 1.5s. Love em. Sweet! I debated long and hard between the 1.5s and the 2.5s due to the number of people talking about the "special something" that the 1.5s have. But in the end I decided that the 70% of my records that are loud rock begged for the bass extension that the 2.5s give. God I hate special orders. I'm sitting here listening to Warpaint and just thinking about how much better they would sound on the Veneres. I WANT MY SPEAKERS ALREADY!
