i guess you guys haven't heard about the /5 "Fortress of Solitude" edition that is a glass see-through box w/ crystal clear glass etched sleeves. clear vinyl w/ transparent labels.

I'm talking with a glass studio in Pennsylvania about doing a single glass cover for the one of one for charity.

Might be very cool and it might be nothing.

I.m really hoping it works out.

Hoping to do it in black or purple glass with either sand blasting or a different color glass laid (preferably white) out with the skull logo on top.

That's what I'm hoping for but like I said, it may fizal out and be like waaaaay to expensive.

Seems like this boxset will be more interesting than major labels boxets

I like the idea of clear sleeves. When I saw info about diecut, i thuoght, that you'll just make coloured paper innersleeve with 1 plain side and 1 with lyrics or so. But clear inners seems to be way more cooler)

We've got prototype boxes, going to an art glass place tomorrow to see about the glass box for the 1/1 for charity, test pressings should be out in the next two weeks, and today I'm researching something for a special addition to all the sets.........

I'll be trying to get out to the glass place when they're making the glass cover for the one of one boxed set
and get some pictures posted when that process takes place.
Will be black glass with the white skull and crossed rockets logo on the top....
The slip case for the one of one will also be hand drawn by Chris Shary and it's guaranteed
to be the MOST spectacular package containing records ever
(ok ever may be a stretch but it will be spectacular)
Now that will be wicked......

Tests are being pressed tomorrow I'm being told.

They will be on random colors and every record will be different.

I won.t send any tests out to anyone till the jackets come in.

The test pressings come with die cut covers but not printed.

Should be fun. I.ll have pictures tomorrow.

So, today i got a 1/1 test press set of this box set from Todd. All multi colored, all the other tests will be black or just one single color. But the color isnt the important part. Let me tell you:

If you guys have an original copy of Another Way, just go ahead and throw that record away right now because this remixed pressing absolutely MURDERS the original. It sounds incredible, its blowing me away. 

Live in '06 is now spread across two sides of an LP and not just one side, and it too, sounds WAY better as well, and it already sounded pretty good as a single sided LP. 

Also, the remixed A-Bomb, jesus christ, were in the same boat with this one as we are for Another Way. Sounds INCREDIBLE. Keep those original 7 inches and the recent repress on the shelf and do not miss on this one. It sounds like it was recorded last year! Fantastic!!!!

Im currently working on listening to all the other LPs as well, so far theyre all perfect sounding, you guys are going to be way stoked on this release, i promise, dont miss out on it!!

Here are the awesome inner sleeves that they came in, theyre great. i dont think ive ever seen anything like this before. Theyre a crystal clear sleeve with the TBR skull printed on one side.
