What Vinyl Boxset would like to see Happening?

Recommended Posts

We need a Marilyn Manson box set !

Speaking of a Marilyn Manson box set, I was snooping around the webstore a while ago and noticed a tab for "Vinyl Box Sets," but when you click it, it says they are currently non-available.

I don't think there were any kind of sets with his latest album, but I could be wrong. Slight chance we may be looking at a Manson boxset fairly soon.

It was for the Family Values set with the T-shirt,

Agree with the Groovie Ghoulies, but on that note I would rather have The Haints since they weren't pressed.

Others I would like are:

The Slackers - This would be hard due to the size of their catalogue.  Maybe just the Hellcat releases?
A Tribe Called Quest - Although their records are easily attainable, it would still be nice.

Boxsets for Mystic Records bands would be cool. It seems like Doug is still trying to get his music to the people (or maybe just the NOFX stuff that he can still legally release...), so I think it could happen. Bands like Dr. Know, Insolents, and RKL - fucking RKL! - could sell pretty well. None of them had terribly expansive catalogs anyway, so they would probably be easy on the wallet, too (especially given how cheap Mystic stuff already is).

What about a box set of all the Super Sevens, like NOFX did with 126 Inches of NOFX? That'd be fucking keen. I'd shell out some good money for some remasters of the Super Sevens on 12" at 45rpm, in some crazy colors or something, bundled along with the Super Seven Sampler(s?).

Doug, if you can see this, do it!

A Dave Matthews Band Boxset. All Studio albums from Under the Table and Dreaming through Stand Up, also include the EP Recently. I would be so happy if this ever happened.

Also a Dashboard Confessional one, that also would include 7" of their earlier EP's, some great stuff on their!

Being lazy and stealing ideas from this page:

The Prodigy, QOTSA, Mars Volta, SOAD, and maybe Manson (don't really care for anything after Mechanical Animals though)

A Portishead boxset would be pretty cool

The other day I was daydreaming about a Nine Inch Nails box set when he hits Halo 30. It would be so huge and expensive but I bet it would sell pretty well.

I can't even imagine how amazing and expensive that would be

Our Lady Peace. 20 years of music and 8 albums, and the only viny to their name was a 7" Neil Young cover in '94, and the most recent two albums (which tbh were a little underwhelming, at least in comparison to the earlier stuff).

20th Anniversary 1994-2014 box set. I still don't understand why this isn't happening.
