heypeterman
My wife isn't home and I gotta make my own dinner. The powdered cheese looks a little darker than usual. Well, I gotta eat... Edit: I didn't check for a KD lovers thread before making this one. Surely there must be one already. Oops.

000000
It's always piqued my curiosity that it's just called "mac and cheese" in America, yet in Canada it's "Kraft dinner". hudsoncomplex
IanRees
It took me forever to learn what Kraft Dinner was, I've always heard the term but didn't put it together till I was listening to a Canadian podcast. It's just calle Mac n Cheese round these parts.
sideny
If you've got any real cheese just substitute that for the powdery stuff. I say stuff because i'd call it 'cheese' loosely haha. Throw some black pepper or something on there with sriracha and crack open a beer. Pretty much my college life. MiCanuck
heypeterman
Right, I forgot it wasn't called Kraft Dinner in the US. And I already regret my decision to eat it.
thebiglebowski
You should have just eaten the half stick of butter that goes in there and drank the half cup of milk. MiCanuck

Also having a Kinder Surprise (seriously) for dessert. Probably some other Canadian stereotypes I can't think of. imaxcowboyx

IanRees
Well yeah, but processed boxed or canned products unless its a year out isn't that big of a deal.
tittus
It's something psychological that tells me "don't do it". I must have had a bad experience along the way. I certainly can justify things, but the initial reaction is a no. nobodybrokeurheart
sjb2k1
my girlfriend helped me clean out my fridge when she was here and apparently my bottle of lime juice expired in 2006. also, i like making homemade cheese sauce. cheese, milk, a little butter, and some flour to keep the cheese from getting globby. I'm flipping between the Jets, Leafs and Senators games. I'm a Canucks fan though and will be watching that game once it's on.

heypeterman
You a Kings fan? Flames and Oilers fans hate the Canucks more than they hate each other. I went to a pub in Edmonton and they had posters celebrating the '94 Rangers and '11 Bruins defeat of the Canucks in the finals. That is hatred!
