Black Numbers Posted May 14, 2013 Author Share Posted May 14, 2013 Well, they are beautiful regardless. i'm stoked on them for sure. the clear/white/red one is much more transparent than that photo lets on. the pink/clear one is mostly just pink because we used a custom mixed pink. the grey is my favorite though. matches the art so well. I might have to pick up the grey one at the release show. i'm not a great designer. my ONLY flaw. haha i do my best with those mockups, but i feel like it's pretty common knowledge that simulated variants for the store's sake aren't guaranteed to look like the record. stoked you'll be at the show. we've got some cool stuff planned. Guest s0uthard Posted May 16, 2013 Share Posted May 16, 2013 Got my copy in the mail today of the Red/White/Clear. Mine has more white than the pic here, but looks pink in low light. If you hold the record up to the light you see it is red. It is like I got 2 out of 3 variants in 1! Also, it sounds great. Will Putney did a great job mastering this record.
