kylebutcher5
Talking to their merch manager, I have learned they are planning to press The Heist over the summer! Hopefully it will be like the deluxe edition CD!
Thom Yorkified
Fuck this guy. Thrift shop has to be the most idiotic embarrassment of a song ever. Guy should be ashamed of himself. Also: http://m.complex.com/music/2013/04/woman-attacks-boyfriend-for-singing-thrift-shop-gets-arrested I dont think he is trying to be innovative with the song. It's supposed to be dumb and ironic. thejesseb
when i saw these idiots on SNL i thought for sure it was a sketch. people like this shit? Not really. I just like Thrift Shop for its comedic value.
adamrfox
say what you want, but I love the album. You can't judge the album off of thrift shop, and thats what a lot of people do booms528 and jonnystorm777
jhook
Thrift Shop is the lamest song on the record. That record has some decent songs on it. Can't blame him for cashing in on a dumb song. adamrfox
wheresmyjuice
Not really. I just like Thrift Shop for its comedic value.Biggest rapper to come out of the NW other than Sir Mix-a-lot. He raps a lot about Seattle and a lot of DJs at KEXP are all about it. I will say that i dont know thrift shop, but i absolutely loved his KEXP in studio. Shot just before Thrift Shop came out. I will certainly be buying this.
IanRees
Thirft Shift is a campy fun song, even i didnt like it at first. The rest of the album is really solid and most songs have a great message (same love) Im stoked to see this come out on vinyl.
3arl
I just hate his flow. It just sounds so forced and unnatural. Also, I'm really not a fan of rap with a message.
EmoVeganBoy
Same Love is a good song. Only one I really enjoy on this album. I appreciate him bringing a pro-gay message to the rap world, but overall just don't like his voice/style.
TFP
Also, I'm really not a fan of rap with a message. Isn't that what most rap/hip hop is? Also, not a fan. Liimpan
One Hundred Fifty-Two
Isn't that what most rap/hip hop is? Also, not a fan. Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, Riff Raff, Trinidad James, Lil Wayne, and Waka Flaka Flame would beg to differ.
gmoney
My favorite album from last year. I am a completely obsessed fan - no shame.
derkwithano
I think the album is very good. I actually really like his voice.

I thought I Don't Like was about how Cheif Keef doesn't like all of the gay marriage hate.
sonsofvipers
Will be buying. Dude is talented. If the only song you've ever heard from him is Thrift Shop, don't talk shit about him.Loved the majority of the Heist, and love his older shit too. kylebutcher5
They are super busy now, but I have an email from Libby, one of the merch managers, saying they will press it by 2014—hopefully summer 2013. There may or may not be similar package to the deluxe edition—faux-gatorskin, individual pieces of art for each song. The first thing I'd be doing is putting a big scratch over Thrift Shop. not really, but it's radio presence makes me sick. sonsofvipers
jhook
Watch this live set. http://youtu.be/K2Pky_5ynb0 Thrift Shop is by far his weakest song.
000000
Thought Thrift Shop was stupid, then saw them do Same Love on NPR's Tiny Desk. Moral of the story, don't judge books by the first single. derkwithano
