Vinyl at Target

*shudders* CAF pulls suck (worked at target for about 3 years, mostly hardlines and back room for a summer)

I did 2 and a half years as a TL in the backroom, other than backstocking and Autofills in the walk in freezer, I loved the backroom. Then they moved to P-Fresh as the TL and what a mess/horrible system that was. Keep them baffles down haha

It looks like at some point they had some cool stuff in stock online. Not somewhere I'd check regularly but as a team member there gotta love getting any kind of discount on records.

I'm also surprised I haven't really seen any in stock at my store- I work at one of the largest in Chicago. Might make sense for them to get some here.

That's pretty much how I feel. Would never trade it for having to deal with guests/cleaning up their mess/red card/esp/attachment quotas.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread yet, but it looks like most of the Target stores have their vinyl on clearance. Of the 3 in my area that carry vinyl, they were all on clearance. 2 stores had them on 30% clearance, and one had it on 50% clearance.

If you find one that has 50% off clearance, the Beatles releases will be about $10. I got the Pink Floyd releases (DSOTM and WYWH) for $14.48 each yesterday.

Generally, I've seen the two Pink Floyd albums, U2's Joshua Tree, Steve Miller Band, and a few Beatles 2009 remasters (Revolver, St. Pepper, Let It Be), at Target stores. Not much of a selection, but this may be the cheapest you see brand new sealed copies of these titles.

Yeah, of all the stores in my area that I've checked (4 of 6 stores here stock vinyl), none of them are in the typical Music section. They are in the Electronics department, next to the shelf with the Crosley turntables, usually near the television and stereo displays. There's usually only a handful of records displayed on a cardboard box stand (typically about 6 to 12 records total).
