KennyFuckingPowers
How lazy does microsoft think we actually are? Holy shit. But that console looks sexy. ________________________________ Share your gamertag here!- http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/5224-post-your-gamertag/

BuzzersonKillwell
Tons of TV integration, Skype video calls and an expanded Xbox Live server farm for cloud saves and games. Seems like this shit is going to be pricey.
dethrock
Yeah I'm really not interested in talking to a console or using my hands to navigate the console. I watched the first 10 minutes or so of the reveal and got bored.

BuzzersonKillwell
Sorry, when you asked for a recap I should have known to only share what you might be interested in and given relevant updates. PC Music, batnoises, knifeparty and 1 other
elgato48
@majornelson: #XboxOne will have a dedicated Game DVR and editing and sharing tools
dantheriver
Now that it actually has a good amount of memory the tv integration, blu ray support, skype, etc... are actually relevant because you can hot swap between everything on the fly. Basically no more load screens in between everything you do. Thats awesome imo. Not a ton has been announced in terms of games, and they haven't gotten to price or release date yet. Considering they still have a few months of tech shows to do I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of stuff isn't shown off yet.
BuzzersonKillwell
Damn. 15 exclusive games in year one and 8 new IPs. That couldn't have been cheap. I think they'll save 80% of the game stuff for E3, they've basically said as much.

BuzzersonKillwell
No I want the updates. I was more directing my comments to microsoft. Hey man, if I can't be sarcastic on the internet, where can I be. Steven Spielberg is talking about Halo but I couldn't tell what about exactly. EDIT: Oh, a Halo TV series I guess.

BuzzersonKillwell
No. Just announced Xbox Two is a companion system that will play the games. More at E3.
BuzzersonKillwell
No release date. "Later this Year" as the time frame. No price either yet. Seems like they wanted to get out in front of the E3 hype. Pretty light in info, heavy on new technology.
Shitty Rambo
"Xbox, on!" The name is dumb. Guess it doesn't matter because everyone just called the Xbox 360 the, "Xbox," anyways. People give a shit about Skype? I have upwards of 6 devices in my home that can use Skype as it is. I used it one time I think, but what do I know? I hangout on Google+ like a jerk-off. BuzzersonKillwell
Anyone want to guess at a price. Seems expensive. $400, $500, $600?
Guest
$600 probably, maybe more.
dantheriver
They just confirmed it is not "always on" during the spike after show. Anyone want to guess at a price. Seems expensive. $400, $500, $600? There have been heavy rumors that they will employ the new contract based pricing like they recently did for the 360, that way you are only looking at like maybe $200 up front and then you pay for the rest via a slightly inflated monthly Xbox Live fee over a year or two.
