I made an NCAA March Madness-style tournament bracket for the band Cursive.

Hey VC. You know you guys are the greatest, right? That's good. You all look fine tonight.

I have something for you. Maybe you'll like it, maybe you won't. Maybe you like the band, maybe you don't. Either way, I'll hope you can appreciate it.

I love college basketball, and I think the NCAA tourney (aka March Madness) is the best tournament, bar none, of any sport.

I also love music, a lot. It's why I'm here. One of those bands happens to be Cursive, helmed by Tim Kasher. I own all of their albums and give maximum effort to see them when they're here in Central Florida.

They also have a lot of songs! Hard to pick a favorite, right?

Well, I did, using an NCAA March Madness-style tournament. You can read the post here: http://onerecordperday.wordpress.com/2013/06/04/subjectiverumbles-cursive/

I was inspired by Rembert Browne, a writer for Grantland. In 2011, he did the exact same type of post for OutKast called the "Stankoff" and one earlier this year for Chappelle's Show Skits. I discovered the Stankoff as I was looking for the artwork for Aquemini, for my daily music writing project: One Record Per Day.

Check it out. Let me know what you think. I plan on doing more of these as this year goes along and would greatly appreciate any feedback.
