FangsAnalSatan
When I initially downloaded the album; I wasn't really a fan of it at all. I thought the album art was weak and the songs didn't stand up to their old material. The songs really have grown on me, especially Steps and the title track. Also, holding the album in my hands let me really appreciate how fantastic it really is, both sonically and visually.
Neanderthal
Has anyone listened to this at 33? It makes it a crushing doom album. That really peaks my interest.
Derek™
Fun fact: 99% of Deathwish releases mastered at 45 RPM will become "crushing doom albums" when played at 33 RPM. See: Jane Doe.
Shelby
I'm having trouble continuing on to the tracks after Praise / Love and Anyone / Anything because I just feel like listening to them on repeat...

Shelby
Anyone / Anything is my favorite. I normally don't enjoy choruses but that one is as good as it gets.

This is true as the first time I popped in Sunbather I forgot to switch it to 45, but part of me didn't want to. Shelby
AutumnEmpire
I normally don't enjoy choruses but that one is as good as it gets. The whole "I don't owe anyone, I don't owe anything" part makes me think of angsty middle schoolers so I can't get into the lyrics of that song. I like the guitars though. nothingnatural

jhulud
last 3 tracks are the best. Those are the ones that sealed the deal for me on this record. They're tops.
rcafilm
Listened to this for the second time today. Listened once on Pitchfork but their player drives me nuts so I waited to listen again on Spotify. I quite enjoy a few of the songs, but I don't know, something about the album as a whole just doesn't quite do it for me. Gonna keep listening to it to try to arrive at some real conclusion, but I've been on the fence about getting this on vinyl and at this point I think I'm gonna have to pass.
