thenuthouse
Promoting my own stuff here, but has anyone else heard about Drafthouse reissuing the original Death "Keep On Knocking" b/w "Politicians In My Eyes" single on Tryangle? The band said it happened, but I can't find details ANYWHERE. http://www.nuthousepunks.com/blog/2013/06/28/new-music-on-the-way-from-proto-punks-death/
glass realms
I saw them play at Amoeba yesterday. They had shirts for sale but no records. Amoeba only had the two Merge albums for sale. I'm checking out the doc tomorrow night. Maybe they'll have it for sale there. If not, I'll try to ask them about it if I get the chance to talk to them. TooManyHumans.....
I'm trying to go today in Detroit, well Birmingham. I would love to grab one of those 45's.
opivy
Has anybody seen the doc yet?? Yeah, it's really awesome. I was surprised how well the film turned out with how little they had to work with. There's a podcast with one of the guys who made the documentary and he said they had to scour all the band's relative's houses for pictures to add to the interviews. BuzzersonKillwell
I saw them play in NYC a few years back at some weird place. Cafe Europa or something. I haven't seen the doc but one of the dudes that made it used to work for Burton and is super nice, pulling for him for sure. A couple (one?) sons of band members are in a band called Rough Francis and just put out they're first album if anyone wants to check that out.
