Miamasa
I don't know too much about amplifiers, even more so for this specific model that I have unused, but would this be a good amp to play a turntable through? (As in quality, etc.) Probably not too high quality, but maybe it'll do okay I'll be running a Debut Carbon through a currently unchosen phono preamp.. (And by the way, what would be a good midrange preamp? I'm considering the Bugle2, Azur 640p or something) Thanks!
heypeterman
If that's all you have then use it but it is likely pretty poor quality. Since I couldn't find any info I am assuming it isn't very good but it appears to be an all-in-one type unit so I think that's a safe assumption. Cambridge Audio preamps are good but the Pro-ject Phono Box S is nice since you can adjust input capacitance/impedance and gain. Good budget preamps are the Art DJ Pre II and TC-750/TC-750LC. The Art preamp can be found at Long & McQuade. This is a good choice if you have one near you. Easy to return.
