Panic! at the Disco - "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!" - PO

Recommended Posts

Earlier today Panic announced new album "Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!" out October 8th and released a new song. Here is the link to the preorder bundles .http://panicatthedisco.gomerch.com/

And the link to new song "Miss Jackson" -

To me it kind of sounds like a song off Fall Out Boy's new record but slightly better.

I just listened to Miss Jackson, and just off it I doubt I will care for the new album. It also feels like they're following Fall Out Boy to the point where they're stepping on Fall Out Boy's heel.

I won't be preordering this for sure.

I feel like they've always been just behind FOB. I mean, it's hard not to when Pete basically 'discovered' them and Brendon's voice being nearly interchangeable with Patrick's back in the PureVolume demos / AFYCSO days.

I guess so, but this seems so much more like FOB. I really liked Vices; maybe this is just one off song... but I highly doubt it.

I'm just tired of bands going all electronic. I thought Save Rock and Roll was just too much. On the other hand I thought Paramore had a solid album that added electronics but still kept a good rock/alternative feel to it.

I liked Vices, too.  I wasn't a fan of Pretty. Odd. at all, so I was happy that Vices turned out to be the album that it was.  I actually didn't hear the new song yet (no speakers at work), so I'm gunna take a listen.
