lonesomexloveus
depends on the person i guess. i didnt mind the different processes or filters. there should be different ones for indoors vs. outdoors anyhow. now, presented as a series, yes. separately, no. i just offered that piece of constructive criticism because he called it a set and they were obviously of the same subject matter, so they should have the same 'look' post-production. viewed separately, they're all good in their own right! JacobMckinley
I went ahead and reedited the set to make it a bit more cohesive. I kept the originals as i think as stand alone photos they can be quite effective.

futures
The black and white one is my fave I think. Although I also love the mirror one, Jacob. JacobMckinley

lonesomexloveus
i have a hasselblad but hardly ever use it. if i had more time i would, but i have way too much on my plate to use it regularly.

lonesomexloveus
500cm with an 80mm f/2.8 zeiss lens. i think about selling it from time to time because i use it so incredibly infrequently, but every time i take it out of it's case and hold it, i just decide that i can't part with something so beautiful, haha. abovetheearth
ah - me too. i looked up the year, i think its a '68. still looks brand new. i have that lens plus another. i have a fridge full of 120 film. i need to offload. every now and then i want to sell it, and i too open the case, hold it and smell it and im like...na. no way. lonesomexloveus and henster311
mitch.
this guy..right here. I remember a passing comment about Hasselblads, wasn't sure if anyone still actively used theirs though. If you have a spare $42,000 there is a NASA Hasselblad EL on ebay. I'd love to try out a Mamiya 645 Pro/TL or Yashica 124g, have you guys used either? futures
I had a mamiya 645. Lovedddddd that camera but getting the film developed became to pricy for my budget so I sold it. =\

Was yours just the original Mamiya 645? You should post some pictures from it.

jvphotoandvideo
what are you shooting with? looks real crisp I'm shooting with a Nikon D7000 and a Nikkor 18-200mm lens. Very happy with what I get out of it. fellow photogs, im gonna be doing a small print run of a photo that ive been asked by many people if they could buy. i sold prints before but never have i mailed them out. what the best way? a record mailer? also, would be cool if we did a print exchange here. Some places like staples have document mailers designed for photos. I think they have plastic inside them. I've passed them by before wondering the same thing. I think you would have to write "Do not fold!" all over it though. The prints I'm going to be dealing with someday are larger scale so I'm looking at tubes from Uline. I'd suggest checking out their site for any supplies. That'd be awesome! Trading sounds fun. What print are you going to be selling?
futures
In the past when I worked at a photo shop I would stick two cardboard pieces in a yellow document folder with the print in between with tissue paper-like paper wrapped around the print. (multiple prints face eachother.) jvphotoandvideo
alexschelldorf
I had my DSLR stolen from me last April (a Panasonic GH2). I just got the insurance money 2 weeks ago. No joke. Anyway, I bought a Sony NEX-5N because I wanted something less bulky. Rad camera so far. I'll post some shots soon, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the category of "definitely not point-and-shoot, but definitely not a full-frame." futures
The bridge/micro 4:3 cameras are ridiculous! I have an Olympus E-P2 that I absolutely love. I don't have money for any of the lenses, but I use the pancake lens on it all the time.
lonesomexloveus
i want an x100s so much. it would be so nice to not feel like i had to lug my dslr and backpack around everywhere in order to get good photos.
Princess Logan
I was looking at cameras at Sams Club over the weekend and my mom had to physically pull me away from them. I miss them sooo bad. (I feel like I'm regressing into an infant with all these stories about my mom telling me no)
lonesomexloveus
it's ok; my mom is still telling me no. (or weirdly, sometimes yes. because she is an enabler and i think she thinks if i spend all my monies on things like Vans and cameras i'll never move out and she can keep me at home forever and ever. which really wouldn't be terrible, because i'm pretty sure most of my friends on facebook would defriend me if it wasn't for my 'ridiculous things my parents said' status updates)
