Wow, it looks extremely good, thanks for the heads up! I think I'm going to hold off pre ordering from Banquet and wait for Pure Noise's pre orders.

It's not really. The variants really don't go with the cover much, and they feel like they're just to be so crazy that the kids will eat them up. Which they do.

If a record is aesthetically pleasing it's a nice extra to me. But I don't think it's weird what you said. Someone new to vinyl would see something like the WYDS watermelon variant and without a doubt be more intrigued then a white record.

Pure Noise knows the demographic they're selling to, and they make colors that look appealing. Nothing wrong with that.

I agree, and something visually appealing is always cool. But I'd always prefer it to be closer to the artwork instead of just being crazy colors obviously for the sake of being crazy like these are.
