Anyone know of a good store that can help? Tried google, was just seeking personal experience These guys were good to me when I was starting out. I bought a 2M red from there and I took my table down and they threw it on for nothing when I knew nothing about balancing a tonearm, setting the anti skate and all that. http://www.carltonaudiovisual.com.au/
piky0032
yeh awesome....saw them on google but really wanted a personal review/experience. Will have a look when i can....might just end up replacing the OM10 on the Project for the time being, and then sort out whether the 2M red or the Shure will be the best cart/needle set up for me
piky0032
Actually looking at it I might just put the money down on the 2M red if they can install for no charge.....seems to be a solid choice and if I can get it put on with no issues thats the go I think....emailed them earlier...shall see shortly

I'd recommend the 2M cartridge for the price range, and plenty of people throw them on Pro-jects without issue. Hopefully Carlton AV help you out with the install. dangerben
best part about grabbing the 2m red cart is that down the line you can upgrade the stylus to the blue for a fraction of the cost! I'm about due for a stylus change and am thinking of going that route - I bought all of my gear from clef hifi in south melbourne. Great little hifi store.
