Picked up the two colored and want to get the 180 black when I get more funds. It just occurred to me that the last pressing had 100 on 180g black... Many people, like myself, have been waiting and waiting for them to reissue this. So, when they finally did I think people just drank them all up. I am really starting to hate the multiple copies of the same record in my collection, but I just couldn't help it with this title. In the past I have been obsessed with finding original first pressings of records that I love, but lately with all of these crazy color combinations and remasters, I'm not caring as much about having a first pressing. aviolentworld Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 like i have said before i was never really a doom metal dude but this thread is really opening me up to some great bands. i was just wondering how you find out about some of these guys. back in the day i used to read CD liner notes and pick up mentioned bands in the thank you section. since finding this thread though i have been going to last.fm and looking at similar artists and stumbling on some great ones like Venomous Maximus and Bloody hammers. I guess I'm wondering if there is a better format to find bands with similar tastes besides free pandora and last.fm, or is there something better that i can try? really don't want to subscribe unless it seems worth it. Every other day someone is posting links to bands I use bandcamp also yeah i have heard a ton of good bands since coming here. i used to use pandora but they never really get it right on the bands similarity. lately though i search similar artist to (insert band here) in my google bar and last.fm always pops up so i go there.
