eskimoswim Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 first impression: i don't think there are any tracks on this album that i strongly dislike. it really seems like a grower. something tells me that some good songs were cut from the final track listing, because the album ends leaving me wanting two more. the actual order in which the tracks were set up is questionable as well. With there being no B-Sides recorded I wonder what they would include on any potential singles? I did think of one: If Republic did a 17 Crimes one it could feature a remix of the track on the b-side (there are 2 "17 Crimes" remixes on the Best Buy cd). Whenever I have to force myself to concentrate and still cannot tell if I just listened to five or fifteen songs, It's usually not a good sign. We'll see if it grows, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. This is what I'm thinking too, I'm not going to listen to the leak but of the 5 songs I've heard now, No Resurrection and A Deep Slow Panic don't really grab me.
