Fluttery has been promoting Maiak release (A VeryPleasant Way To Die) - and I was listening to it right before Magdalene. Great back to back action. The latter I actually had very low hopes of receiving, because I bought it off of their [dormant] Bandcamp page for $15, which, for a 2xLP, seemed cheap. One of the all-time great post-rock albums. Pretty much exactly what you would expect from a LP preceding that (admittedly incredible) EP. The climaxes aren't quite as huge on WYHF, and the piano is a bit more prevalent, but neither of those detract from a really enjoyable listen. Knowing you get into ambient, Derek, I think you'd find a lot to love. Especially since there's a pronounced Deadhorse vibe that comes from a few of the tracks.
