drds89
I knew what you meant from the title of the thread and your first post, but understand how people could interpret the other way. Suggestion: amend to "pressed the year you graduated high school" 1981 (yep, that's right) Had a ton, gave them to my little brother who traded most of them for Grateful Dead Bootlegs (:sick emoticon:) What he did return to me was Exit Stage Left by Rush (October 1981). Also my first ever concert December 1981 at Greensboro Coliseum, 5th row, my freshman year college at Wake Forest University. Other than that I could list my virtual albums, but that would take too long. Nice idea for a thread though

TheMoosen
After looking through my tradelist I realized a shit ton of albums came out a year before or after I graduated, 2004. Seriously, White Stripes, Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy (both years), blink 182, Bayside, mae, Midtown, Motion City Soundtrack, Postal Service, and the Starting Line all had releases a year before or after I graduated which I now own. The only one I have from my graduation year is Green Day - American Idiot.

Pantera: cowboys from hell Pixies - bossanova Public Enemy - Fear of a black planet Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule (OG) Naked Raygun - Raygun... Fugazi - Repeater (OG) Janes Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss Social Distortion - S/T Depeche Mode - Violator (OG) Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Kill Your Television Prong - Beg To Differ
Rip
How are you guys going about doing this? Just typing in albums you think came out at the time in google or actually looking at all of your stuff physically one by one?
Derek™
How are you guys going about doing this? Just typing in albums you think came out at the time in google or actually looking at all of your stuff physically one by one? I was going to do this but was wondering the same thing. I could very easily sort my iTunes my year and go down the list, but I'm sure that there are many releases that weren't pressed until later. And alternatively, I'm sure I own some 2004 and 2005 albums that weren't technically pressed on vinyl until 2006.
derby625
I used my collection in discogs. The release year listed on there by version corresponds with when that particular version was pressed

I was actually able to buy most everything that came out last year and haven't gotten much from this year. Anyway, I looked at your list and TDWP's Plagues is limited to 1,000 on purple. konk
I want to do that "need to buy list" like someone else did. I looked on Wikipedia and saw AFI and MICF. At one time I had the three original versions of that, but I sold them.
