Got my first gig in what feels like forever (in reality maybe 2 months) Blacklisters, Howls and Death Pedals.

I'm looking forward to Autumn finally kicking in so these sweaty little shows become less gross, got a few in line for September/October including an all dayer, I Like Trains, Arab Strap, Katatonia and Fvnerals.

Went to the Prophets of Rage show on Sunday. It was 100% better than I expected. Rage brought plenty of energy. B Real and Chuck D were good but just didn't match the energy. It was great hearing all the classics again though.

Im heading to Black Sabbath tomorrow night for their "final tour". I've seen them a few times over the years and they never disappoint. Can't wait for this show.

Sunday is the Rib Zombie show whic I'll be heading to as well.

Dropkick Murphys next month.

I spontaneously saw Deftones on Wednesday because my day was going horrible, and Deftones really did make it a good day, 3rd time I saw them this year, 5th time overall. Pretty good set, although I wished they'd play Doomed User or Phantom Bride over Geometric Headdress, I also wish they'd do 7 Words again, but seeing them do Prince and Krimdracula was great.

Living in SoCal has opened up a brand new world for me as far as concerts go. I love it a lot. I saw Petal/PWR BTTM/Pity Sex at the end of June, The B-52's a couple of weeks ago, Alex G/Hop Along/Saves the Day on Friday night! I've got tickets to see P.S. Eliot on the 9th in LA, Chain Fest tickets on the 17th, Touche Amore on the 26th, and Turnstile?Angel Du$t on november 8th. Miiiiight even go see Modern Baseball and Jank. Haven't decided yet.

might see Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats on Friday, if I decide to not go out of town

GO SEE THEM! They're probably my favorite metal band out right now, and they put on an amazing show. I saw them on their first US tour in LA and again on their second in Santa Ana, both were amazing.

I'm a fan, just depending on how busy I am at work on Friday
