weinerdog Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 I just got around to opening and cleaning my Wolverine Blues FDR vinyl and to my surprise the color isn't right. I was lucky enough to weed through the pre-order bullshit and scored a "Blood Song" red vinyl copy. The package I received had a sticker on the outside that said "Blood Song" on it. When I opened it, it's basically clear vinyl with a milky tinge to it. As far as I can tell it was not officially a color for either the UK or US pressings. What Gives?! That's pretty nice looking. My second FDR purchase from there, and the color names are a good laugh. Mine isn't anywhere near a 'blood' color, it looks like a happy bright cherry red. I can't find it for sale anywhere in Europe, only on Century Media's website and eBay shop. It's not even on CM's European shop. Best keep an eye out on Ebay, you never know, one may turn up...and depends on what you are willing to pay to get a copy.. this one is going for £53, a lot. too much for me at the moment. Since Hollowman is just an ep, and a bit of an uneven one at that, I didn't want to spend the same as I have for Clandestine and Wolverine Blues. Earache have an Entombed 'Classic Vinyl Collection' box set going on sale Thursday at 1900 BST (GMT+1). I have no idea what is in the box set as I can't find anything in the Earache store, on the facebook page or via google, but the information that it's coming out comes direct from Earache themselves.
