l0new0lf7
Hearing the positive reaction to the quality is exciting, however I will never get rid of OP LZ's, they were some of my very firsts vinyl and they mean the world to me.
JimmyBOD
I combo'd the PopMarket deal with a 15% discount code and got the deluxe boxes for $93 each. I'm very excited about that but can only imagine how long I'll be waiting to get them as PopMarket is notorious for long shipping delays with new product like this. All reissues currently streaming on Spotify so, at least, I'm getting my fix for now.
silverburst
Got mine... Only ordered the first one to see how it sounds. Off for a listen in a min :-)
kramer73
Got mine... Only ordered the first one to see how it sounds. Off for a listen in a min :-) I went in to pick one of these up yesterday, but the store was shorted. Should have more this weekend. Got some swag as well, totebag, slipmat, buttons, etc.
russtcb
My local store swore that they had the 3LP I and 2LP III, but they didn't when I arrived. Still hoping to find them around town tomorrow. I got the 2LP II on release day, so I'm excited to spin that later tonight.

russtcb
Side 1 on my copy of the first LP for II is distorted so I'm hoping to exchange that today. Side 2, the entire second LP and all 3 LPs of I sound fantastic though. Hoping the 2LP version of III lands in stores this week.

jaxvinyl
Has anyone come across a reputable source reviewing the remastered sound quality yet? I'm on the fence about picking these up (I already own OPs in good condition), but I feel like a good review would probably help the decision immensely. tonyfranciosa
I own early pressings of these and I think the new versions smoke them. Granted I don't have an RL Zeppelin II, but I notice significant improvement across the board. I don't know who you would consider reputable. The Hoffman forum are a bunch of psychopaths, so I'd take their consensus recommendation with a grain of salt.

Just ones that actually review the sound quality of the reissue as opposed to how "cool" the new packaging is and how Led Zeppelin are sonic architects and changed the landscape of rock music forever blah blah blah. Requiescat
Got all 3 Zeppelin albums for the buy 2 get 1 free from B&N. Stoked. Barely $45 for them is a great deal and they sound great. Led Zeppelin III arrived last night since it was shipped separately about a day later but were all packed well and no play issues at all. Just ones that actually review the sound quality of the reissue as opposed to how "cool" the new packaging is and how Led Zeppelin are sonic architects and changed the landscape of rock music forever blah blah blah. The Hoffman forum is the place to go. Some may consider them "psychopaths"... Honestly there's just a lot of overly-anal listeners on there. But you can read literally pages (and PAGES) about the sonics of these reissues... including waveforms, DR levels, and separate threads for vinyl, CD, and HD Tracks. The Hoffman people are to sonic analysis as VC people are to colored variants of Warped Tour acts. grizzlyfoz, gud, RowBearToe and 2 others

RowBearToe
saw this today in an article Guitarist Jimmy Page spent three years digging through boxes of quarter-inch reel-to-reel recordings from the late '60s and early '70s to find songs to accompany the "Deluxe Edition" remasters of the band’s original three albums, each of which will be available June 3 in a wide variety of formats. The additional six studio titles from the Led Zeppelin catalog will follow in the coming months. Has there been any word on when the next batch is going to come out? Other than the statement saying in the coming months?

gud
IV, Houses and PG are my favorite LZ albums. i'll wait happily. So did the LZ III cover package come with the spinning wheel? i used to love spinning it while playing the record.
l0new0lf7
So did the LZ III cover package come with the spinning wheel? i used to love spinning it while playing the record. It did. And looks great by the way. I'm still waiting on LZ2 to come in from amazon. I hope the production teamed learned their lesson with these first batches and won't have the same issues with the next round of releases. webdoggy
Celebration Day had delay after delay as well. That time the entire release was pushed back several times though.
russtcb
Finally got the call that the 2LP version of II is back in stock so I can exchange my first LP. Other than the slight distortions on that one side of that one LP, I've been super happy with everything to do with these thus far!
