Visited the Princeton Record Exchange yesterday and traded in $110 worth of DVDs/Blu Rays. Wasn't feeling terribly inspired by the selection, but found a few goodies:

Lene Lovich - New Toy EP - US 12"

Oingo Boingo - Only A Lad - US LP

Michael Nesmith and the First National Band - Nevada Fighter - US LP

Bangles - Everything - US LP

Squeeze - UK Squeeze - CA LP on red vinyl

Genesis - Tonight, Tonight, Tonight (Remix Long Version) - US 12"

Ivy - Lately - US 10"

I had a few other things that I was going to get, but I greatly underestimated how much I had brought to trade in so put them back. On the bright side, I have $87 in credit for next trip.

How does that Cold House 2XLP sound. I have the original single LP and I think it sounds amazing.

I'm still waiting for it in the mail. I will tell you how it is once I get it.

Zounds - Curse of Zounds

The Damned - Machine Gun Etiquette

The Specials - S/T

Dead Moon - Strange Pray Tell

Devo - Q:Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!

The English Beat - I Just Can't Stop It

Cloud Rat - Moksha

No Statik - S/T 12"

Those first three records are like "unsung heroes" of my high school listening habits. Feels cool to have them again and that I remembered that I was into some rad shit rather than just streetpunk. I put that Zounds CD on while we did a rollerblading thing in gym class and it got through 2 songs before the teacher turned it off. So then I put on GBH and that got through maybe half a song.

Not a purchase, but one of my coworkers brought a stack of records in and said I could pick out one of them. Turned out a bunch of the jackets were empty, which he didn't know about, but I did find something awesome: Stand By Me OST in fairly decent condition. I'm also going to MegaCon in Orlando next week so I was thinking about taking it with me and getting it signed by Wil Wheaton.
