If only I knew how to post pictures on here from my phone.

Bad Books on red wax

Further seems forever - how to start a fire on white.

Found BOTH of these at the SAME RECORD STORE. I was very happy.

Oh, and the other day I found Alkaline Trio - Halloween. That was also surprising

Damn, that Bad Books is something I have been hunting too. Have to pay obscene on it?

I wouldn't say obscene.  I got both for $89 out the door. That's with a discount the guy gave me. I didn't even ask for one. He just said, " I'm glad someone grabbed these because they were going up on eBay next week!"

Damn! I'd have totally done that. If you ever want to part with that Bad Books let me know. One of the Kevin Devine pieces I am still missing for my collection. Finally put up a formal WTB but have been looking for months, so maybe that'll shake one loose. Need an OG Make the Clocks Move as well.

Make the clocks move is also on my list. Never seen it out in the wild though. I'll probably be holding onto this bad Books for a long long time.

Amoeba can be fairly hit or miss for me (nothing worse than walking into a behemoth of a record store and leaving empty handed)  but today I could have easily spent a lot more than I did.

After grabbing the one Black Friday release I was after I came across a copy of Mirah's C'mon Miracle for $5, a Department of Eagles 7" for $1.99 and the greatest score of all, a copy of Deerhunters Cryptograms / Fluorescent Grey 2LP on clear vinyl for $17.99.

I'm not entirely sure how scarce it is, discogs lists it as a friends and family pressing with a few copies sold on tour. Regardless, the last copy to sell this year went for $200 so I'm definitely psyched to add it to my collection for a lot less.
