It's strange...I spent the weekend at my girlfriend's parents' house and we picked up some blankets at the attic which used to be her brother's bedroom...all of the sudden I discovered the FRANCES THE MUTE records and was like "no, f*cking way" :o  I definitely have to find out whether he still needs this or not (aka: convince him to make me a gift!) :D

Sorry for the unnecessary bump...just had to share this experience! :)

The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute

:) :) :) FOR FREE!!! :D

Picked up a few things while visiting Denver:

Surfer Blood - Astro Coast (reissue)

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavillion (180gr)

Dirty Projectors - Swing Lo Magellan Deluxe (gave my other copy away)

Dexter Gordon - Our Man in Paris (Music Matters 45RPM version)

Cannonball Adderley (w/ Bill Evans) - Know What I Mean? (OJC reissue)

The main reason I went to the store was to get the new Deafheaven in the first place, but they didn't get any in.

Inspired by the post Reesdog posted a few weeks ago I went on the hunt for a copy of Mirrorball and I found one the other day.

Also picked up

Foo Fighters - There Is Nothing Left To Lose

The White Stripes - De Stijl

Reliving the 90s in my house right now. So good!

Also, I'm going to the record store to pick up something nice. I'll post it when I get back...
