TheWindBlower
That one and Deja were a gift from my mom. She said she got them both for around 5 bills off of discogs. Completely insane and outrageous to me but I can't tell her how to spend her money, I guess. Of course I did the fake angry "I can't believe you spent that much...!" while really being super happy that she did lol. You better love your mom for the rest of time. That's a great lady to scoop you up Deja.

Aych
Went to Atlanta on Thursday. Picked up: VHS or Beta - Bring On the Comets LP Kishi Bashi - Bright Whites 7" Kishi Bashi - It All Began with a Burst 7" Chuck Persons - A.D.D. Complete 7" (Locked Groove Series I, 46/120) Small Black/Washed Out - Split 7" I think I was most excited about finding the Chuck Persons 7", since I figured I'd never see another copy of it again. I'm trying to get all four versions of it, and as of Thursday, I have Series I and III; so, if you have or know of someone who has Series II and IV, I'd love to get my hands on them! Princess Logan
I got to explore Double Decker Records in Allentown, PA yesterday for the first time. I didn't get to dig too much, they closed at 6 and I got there at five. I picked up: Transit- Young New England (Blue & Black Marble) Man Overboard- Real Talk (Maroon) Paramore- Paramore (Black) The pricing is really great there and I was pretty stoked to find out the pressing info on the first two. I was crossing my fingers that Paramore would be the blue, but I'm just stoked that I can finally play this album. It was by far my favorite of the year. I was also gifted the HT press of Panic!'s Pretty.Odd. I was stoked on that too. WereAllDudesHey

Seriously every week their entire inventory changes. I've gotten some seriously amazing stuff here. I saw that Transit and MO stuff last time I was there and you did get a great deal. They were like $8-10 right?
Princess Logan
It was my first time there and I only live a half hour away! I definitely want to go back and dig around (so does my mom, if anyone remembers my story about how she met my soulmate at her work and how he worked at a record store...apparently he works at double decker.) But yes! $8 a piece, they're a little banged up but play just fine. I was a little worried about the scratches on the ManO one, but so far so good. Princess Logan
Good to know! But also terrible because there goes all my money. My closest shop is Young Ones, they're just so overpriced it kills me. They are starting to get friendlier though.

They are starting to get friendlier though. I've been there a couple times, and you're right the prices are just too high and they have nothing rare to find really. Plus no one has ever even talked to me there. While at Double Decker, I'm pretty much friends with the people who work there by now haha

It's workout listening to this one.. getting up and off the couch so much to flip and swap haha. What's interesting about the Joel album is that over the barcode is, stamped in gold lettering, "FOR PROMOTION ONLY. Ownership is reserved by CBS. Sale is Unlawful."I have no idea what the significance, if any, of that is.
