Guest mastenator
thats quite pricey for a miniature easel. you can find one here for $2 to the poster asking about them http://www.bindersar...sel-Blk-2.75x5/ FYI I bought one of those fron Binders and its really tiny, it only holds a 7". kouka
Coming soon in my new house that's odd they put it in before finishing the floors (sorry, I'm a construction nerd). nothingnatural

dethrock
This is just a guess, but it looks like its being assembled in a garage and will probably be moved into the house.
Guest mastenator
No it's built in where it is going in the basement. I'm not sure why we would do the floors first... but we're using a vct (if that makes a difference) All the wood built ins upstairs were put in after the wood floors. thespungo
A modest Expedit setup for my 236 records, with storage boxes from Ikea to house the seven inches.
maneatingcow
Haven't seen anyone using these but I just bought a second batch of these now and am liking them. Vario's from the Container Store http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10032642&N=&Ntt=vario Also another option to the easel, although this is probably way to expensive on this site is the acrylic plate stands. They are quite sturdy and the non deluxe 12" and it fits perfectly. http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10014412&N=&Ntt=acrylic+plate+stand http://www.containerstore.com/shop?productId=10014411&N=&Ntt=acrylic+plate+stand
maneatingcow
Also wanted to see if anyone has tried to use these before: http://www.containerstore.com/shop/collections/display/frames?productId=10010750&green=2ddf3c00-59b9-f7cbf-7479-8c47c8c1152b I would like to be able to display some of my records on a wall. (The horror) Don't worry I want something that is simple and easy take down and swap out. Obviously I'd affix the adhesive backing to the plastic outer sleeve, and then just swap out the record and art on the hanger. Might just buy one or two to try it out if no one has tried these before.

You do the floors first in case you (or future home owners) want to move that beast so you don't have a bare spot that you have to look for matching flooring for. kouka
you still put the floor under "built in shelving" - it's just common sense, and a sign of a lazy builder who doesn't do this. /contractor rant the shelves do look nice, though. nothingnatural

somethingvinyl
I think I like the interaction between you too better. I do need better stuff. I have crappy Pioneer speakers that came with the receiver (5.1 and all that). I have a few pricey records. Including the first pressing of Velvet Underground and Nico on the wall but that's only gotten played twice, one of which was at the record store I worked at.
