Post Your Record Storage Area

each square is roughly 13"x13" and 15" deep. I think I've got roughly 60 LP's and that fits easily into one square.

I hate to think how many records some people have if they've filled 5x5's.

Damn.

my 4x4 is filled completely with LPs, and has roughly 1150 LPs but they arent packed very tightly in so i can still sort of flip through them.

my 5x5 is packed tightly though. there is about 2000 LPs in there.

How much breathing space do you guys consider "room" ? I have about 100 LPs on one 28-ish inch shelf with 4 books in the middle so they are upright. They're tight to the point where you can't flip through and see the front covers, but loose enough that it's easy to pull one out and not bring the two it's touching out with it.

i'm close, i have 16 of the possible 25 square full of records right now.

im utilizing 8 of my squares for records. about 4 are filled with lps, 2 for 7"s, one for 10"s and comp 12"s, and one for incoming and split 12"s.
