ximperfectx
each square is roughly 13"x13" and 15" deep. I think I've got roughly 60 LP's and that fits easily into one square. I hate to think how many records some people have if they've filled 5x5's. Damn.

Damn. my 4x4 is filled completely with LPs, and has roughly 1150 LPs but they arent packed very tightly in so i can still sort of flip through them. my 5x5 is packed tightly though. there is about 2000 LPs in there. kyle
Do you guys all jam them in there? I like to be able to flip through them so I only fill them about 3/4 of the way or less. I'll buy a new Expedit before I stuff them full of LPs.
vinyljunkie
i generally have to jam all my records in cause i always seem to have more records than i do room, no matter how many shelves i end up buying.
mcm1610
How much breathing space do you guys consider "room" ? I have about 100 LPs on one 28-ish inch shelf with 4 books in the middle so they are upright. They're tight to the point where you can't flip through and see the front covers, but loose enough that it's easy to pull one out and not bring the two it's touching out with it.
