tomfiend
Can anyone give me the dimension for this 7" box? I would really like to build one just like it Lol vinyl addict, mssskat184 and trevorxramage
mindovermatter
Thanks for being a smartass and giving me a reason to not ask a question from people I thought would be helpful... F'real though...make the inner dimensions roughly 7" wide and you're golden. Or use your collection as a template. For instance, I have a couple of 7" box sets that are actually about 8" wide, so my 7" holders are a touch bigger than most.

adamha21
Where'd the wall shelves come from? I'd like something like that. It's an IKEA Kallax and I built the backing and spacers myself. EDIT: Oops sorry, didn't read that right. Those shelves are also IKEA and like 12 bucks a pop.

leocuellar
Added doors to the cabinet, the doors can display a record or a picture and you can change records/pictures just by sliding them from the top of the frame. Equipment: Pro-Ject debut III Turntable Garrard Zero 100 Turntable Yamaha CDC-645 CD Player compact Bluetooth receiver Marantz 2270 receiver Modified Boston T830 speakers nothing super fancy but it sounds great! omgitsgill, [Banned User], vinyl addict and 12 others

leocuellar
Why two turntables? For convenience mostly. I like more the sound of the Pro-Ject but it is a completely manual turntable, when I am alone just enjoying my records I use the Pro-ject, and the Garrard its a fully automatic changer, so when I am playing poker with friends or just doing other things while listening, I just load 6 records to the garrard and it will play all of them in sequence and auto turn off when done, it doesn't require attention. Do you see the piece of furniture to the left? that is an old tube console, I also have a garrard mono turntable in there (never use it) and I have also a Garrard 88/4 mono record changer from the fifties laying around and a 76 rpm crank gramophone, so I guess the other reason is I just love turntables. this is my RC 88/4 https://youtu.be/b9C50LzW28k and this is my vintage phonograph: https://youtu.be/vTdXh5QWAdw?t=29s sorry, I don't know how to embed youtube videos. tape and niblips

I print them at Costco, they have the 12x12 size and if fits great. The Brooklyn bridge picture was a huge photo I found online and I cropped the 8 pieces and costco did the rest. niblips
vinyl addict
Did you make the doors or are they LP frames with hinges? I've seen something like that before, but it was all LP covers. Looks great.
leocuellar
Yes, I made the doors, I couldn't find any frames with a rabbet to instert the record/picture without having to unmount anything. Here's a detail of how the records are inserted. [Banned User] and YouTwo
