Nope, not at all.

If anything, Someday Came Suddenly deserves a 180g black reissue, mixed specifically for vinyl with a gatefold jacket. It might be a shitty album, but you cannot deny how every "post-hardcore/metalcore" band from 2008 until about mid-2012 wanted to be Attack Attack! so hard.

fuck all this emo revival and screamo revival and dreampop/shoegaze revival(?) crap, I'm making a crabcore revival band. Who wants to join? Chances are, we never have to practice or use a real drummer, and you probably don't even need to know how to play guitar or sing. Just tune the thickest string down to C using a tuner on your Apple or Android device and go nuts. For vocals, we'll just autotune everything.

That Decoder album was mindblowing. Completely forgot about it. I'm pretty sure I bought it on sale for like $5. I'll have to try to find it.

I never understood the Of Machines hype.

Holding On, Dreamwalker, and The Horrid are just crazy good.

Of Machines definitely weren't inventive by any means, but that album back to back is superb. So many jams.
