Plastic Infinite is a 7″ animated picture disc by UK-based duo Sculpture made to accompany a new track by the same name. Created like a zoetrope, the disc animates when played under a strobe light or filmed at 25fps. Pick one up here. (via Vimeo Staff Picks)

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this is crazy.

This looks awesome. I'm abroad for work at the moment (in Angola) ... so my internet connection is very slow ... can anyone tell me if the music is any good? What does it sounds like.

like the kind of stuff you would listen to while watching a psychedelic zoetropic(al) vinyl record

It's definitely experimental instrumental with some tropical vibe to it, nothing drone about it, nothing dub about it. It's sparkly it's got its moments. I could listen to this while doing art or something. It doesn't have any massive build up or anything like that so in that sense it's minimalist industrial but again, it's not IDM at all. It's kind of got that Animal Collective centipede hz vibe.
