311's upcoming album, Stereolithic, is available for pre-order through the band's Pledge Music page as well as Amazon. Looks like it will be a 2x 180g LP release.

Track List:

01. Ebb and Flow

02. Five of Everything

03. Showdown

04. Revelation of the Year

05. Sand Dollars

06. Boom Shanka

07. Make it Rough

08. The Great Divide

09. Friday Afternoon

10. Simple True

11. First Dimension

12. Made in the Shade

13. Existential Hero

14. The Call

15. Tranquility

Amazon has it for ~$12 cheaper than the Pledge Music page. They were also offering signed copies via the Pledge Music page but it appears as though they are sold out already. There are a few other options still available though.

Enjoy!

Premiere of a new song and I'm digging it. Really like the production on it, but I hope the rest of the album is as "innovative and interesting" as they've been saying it is because this song could have easily been on any of their albums since Don't Tread on Me.

I went to the same high school as these guys. They were once one of the funnest live bands around, and at least 3 of their albums (music, grassroots, and transistor) were great records.

However, they basically make albums every few years as an excuse to keep touring (they never stop). There is no reason to believe this album will be any better than the last 4 or so.

Thanks for positing this.  Digging the guitar tone.  I have always like this band.  Not shocked most folks on this board shit on them.  It's not Brand New or shoegaze so clearly it can't be good.

Agreed with the new song. Even with 311 fans I guess I'm in the minority of really liking the last few records. I for one had no problem with Bob Rocks production.

When I first heard their last album I thought it was terrible.  It took me about 3 or 4 listens and then I really started to dig it.  I think the last album is great but 8 songs was disappointing.  Especially considering my favorite album is Transistor which is 20+ songs.
