Easy RIder Records put up the pre-order for the Monolord record. It's a gatefold double lp for 24 bucks to be released on April 1st.

White vinyl is limited to 100. Buying it enters you into some contest or some crap like that.

I'm going to assume by the lack of responses to this that no one gives a fuck but in case you do, test presses and die hard editions go on sale for this tomorrow morning at 9am PST.

 

They also added a comment about overseas shipping being expensive: "There have been a lot of complaints for overseas customers about the shipping cost, Let us keep in mind that this is going to be printed on 24pt heavy stock, gatefold, with 2 records!  This comes out to 3lbs after it is packaged correctly"

I didn't notice they hadn't sold the die hards yet.  I bought a white one (I think) a month ago.  Now the debate of whether to just stick with that or upgrade to a die hard...

Finally gave this a chance and its really good. Been trying to convince myself to take the plunge and grab a black copy. Thinking I'm gonna sleep on it and see how I feel tomorrow.

Ended up buying this in just under 12 hours after the above post. I've been listening to it on bandcamp frequently for the past 3 days.

 

Anyone who has theirs, does the inner gatefold of the LP have the lyrics printed in it like the CD does? I can't find any photos of it.

I ordered black and was also a bit perturbed by that fact. Plus their shipping charge is pretty ridiculous for one record. I wish Robotic Empire would have had copies of this.

Anyone notice that the tracklist that plays on the LP's is slightly out of order from the listed tracklist on the back? I'm pretty certain that "Icon" plays before "Harbinger of Death" but its listed as the other way around.

It looks that way. I think they announced on Facebook that they were back and since the page is actually functional now I'd say its a safe bet that they are "back."

This is coming from the Riding Easy Records website and there is no mention of your combination. Has to be some sort of packaging mistake.
