vivsavage
Anyone watching this weekend? I'm glad there is now 10 minutes between picks in the first round, 15 was brutally long. Sat will be a great sports day, the draft and Avs vs Wings at 1, Nuggs vs Lakers at 3:30.
skanknsmile
i have to work during the draft, a bit pissed about that one
slymer
I'll be in the middle of moving, but I'll have the draft on for sure.
cosmonaut
I'll just check Denver's picks online at the end of the day. The Broncos better not fuck up this year.
kurtz
Watching the draft bores the hell out of me. I'll just look at the picks when its over.

martyk36
The dolphins are still gonna take the full 15 minutes to pick jake long #1 even though they've already signed him. hopefully the bengals will pick up some defensive help.
kirbs84
I'd love to see Dorsey go to the Saints, but I think it would be a mistake to try and trade up to get him.
kirbypuckett
I don't understand why people are so keen on watching the Draft. Could anything be more dry? I would probably rather watch golf. NOW HOW ABOUT THE MLB DRAFT! OH YEAH! Haha...
destroyingthescene
Don't follow the NFL enough to get excited about its draft, but I always watch the NHL draft, so I relate to the lame excitement that come with watching people sit and desks and walk up to a podium every now and then. Hell, went and saw the NHL draft live when it was in Vancouver.
slymer
I like watching the draft. I like hearing the analysis on the different players. Plus I follow college football so I'm interested in seeing when and where these guys end up. Sure it's overkill, but I don't sit and watch all 20 hours or whatever it is. tattoosdonthurt
Not to mention Mel Kiper Jr. is a massive tool. A brilliant fox of a man, but a massive tool, nonetheless. How in the fuck does he work 2 days a year and still get paid more than most professional athletes?
magalvsr13
i enjoy watching the draft, usually to shoot the shit with friends about football for the first time since february while watching every 10 minutes for the pick unfortunately, i will be camping this weekend and will miss it....oh well, cowboys better pick on needs and not jerry jones dumb wants (i.e. another mid level running back)
boizee
I fear my beloved Broncos will somehow fuck it up...their recent drafts have been dreadful. That being said, Ryan Clady out of Boise State (holla!) would be a very good fit. Cutler's going to get killed soon without a good line. If we draft another RB with a high pick, I'm going to punch someone.

I'm a big Seahawks fan and they won't be picking until 25, so i'll be waiting a while. They'll probably trade out of the first round because they only have 6 picks. As long as they pickup up an O-lineman with one of the first couple i'll be happy.

Clady would be nice, I agree there.

Agreed...except Walker was obtained via trade from Green Bay It's a shame what happened to Darrent Williams, because that dude would've wound up to be one hell of a corner. But Denver acquired Javon "Assclown" Walker for its second round pick, so I count that as part of the '06 draft. He did have one killer year at least. And yes, it sucks about DW. I get where you're coming from... When I used to work in Colorado, I covered the Broncos' 2004 draft. What a shitty one that turned out to be...DJ Williams (decent), then Tatum Bell, Darius Watts, Jeremy LeSeuer, Jeff Shoate, Triandos Luke, Josh Sewell, Matt Mauck, Brandon Miree and Bradlee Van Pelt.
