From Brazil to the US.

Hey I stumbled across this forum and figured I'd see if anyone knows the answer to my question. I bid on an album on eBay on a whim and won. The shipping cost said $3 so I checked out and paid. The seller is saying it's an additional $24 to ship from Brazil and sent me a PayPal invoice for that amount. Aside from the sketchy selling practice of adding fine print (which I didn't read due to the paragraphs upon paragraphs of broken English, I'm wondering if anyone who sells records knows the approximate cost to ship a double LP from the US to South America or does anyone know the shipping weight and dimensions so I can find the cost myself? Thanks
