He apologized to Chuck Ragan over twitter for his actions on the LA stop of the Revival Tour a while back.
Here is a(n) (equally uncomfortable) video:
I've been a fan of his for a long time. Between these two occurrences, I really hope he's taking care of himself, for his music's sake and for his health's sake.

If you're staying near Millenium Park, head to Clark Street Ale House at Clark St. and Chicago Ave. They have a great beer selection with some hand-pulled cask beers. Good laid-back atmosphere, too, which you typically won't find in that part of the city.

The Alkaline Trio played Maybe I'll Catch Fire in its entirety last night.
It was ok. I guess.

I'm not into this type of music at all, but one of my old high school buddies is in a local doom band that seems to be pretty well-liked around Chicago.

Chrysler LeBaron convertible. Done.
I only see one Le Baron, Freddy... I only see, I don't see two Le Barons... Where's YOUR Le Baron, Freddy? Where's your Le Baron? How many Le Barons? Are there TWO Le Barons?...

Paint your face. Find some kind of fake turtle to carry around. Done.

Mustard Plug - The Freshman (The Verve Pipe)

Got one.
I predict mine will be a picture of a corn-fed harvest mouse, a hooker, a nun, a Flemish peasant woman, whips, chains, whistles yo-yo's, a circus midget, my grandmother riding by on a bicycle give me the finger, and a duck!
Or, you know, something else. Either way, I'm stoked!

One of my all-time favorite bands. Saw them a few times back in college and at their "last show". Ladd is one strange dude, but man, he can write a hell of a song.
Would love to see these pressed, also.

Saving the environment and the remaning species diversity of the planet is now your mindset. Nothing is more important than saving them. The Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels
Of course! The squirrels.

Another crazy option = Bacon pancakes. Best ever. Seriously.

I seem to have nabbed a pair. I've been looking for new earbuds, but refuse to spend much money because I just fuck up every pair I have within 6 months.
Thanks!

A little late, but maybe for next time:

My brother bought these in college. They worked surprisingly well.

and the clear with blue sprinkles
It looks like he has everything except the 4th and 5th Euro pressings of Sink or Swim. Very nice.
Thanks!
Yeah, those 2 records are what that I'm looking for, though not very aggressively.

that's a sick gaslight collection. i'm gonna post mine in a few days, have a bunch of outstanding stuff coming.
missing about 8 things altogether from mine.
I have a couple doubles, but by the look of your list, you have one and are expecting the other.

Tried to do a top 5, but my list would be incomplete without any of the following:
The Alkaline Trio - Goddamnit
The Bouncing Souls - How I Spent My Summer Vacation
The Gaslight Anthem - Sink or Swim
Goldfinger - S/T
The Lawrence Arms - The Greatest Story Ever Told
Park - It Won't Snow Where You're Going
Rise Against - Revolutions Per Minute
Saves The Day - Through Being Cool
-
Were you looking in the Distro page or did you search Gaslight?
Distro.

TEAM PUP'N'SUDS BABAY
I was in high school when this movie came out. My friend (for some reason) watched it and told me he heard a Suicide Machines song in the movie. I told him he was full of shit because he was not really a fan of the band, he had just heard me playing them pretty regularly, but he swore it was true. The next time is was on, he taped it, brought it to my place, and showed me the part with the supposed song.
He was right. "Give" is in this movie. Bizarre.

Colder than a well digger's ass.
....and isn't it "hot enough to melt the balls off of a brass monkey"?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brass_monkey_(colloquial_expression)
i like the fact that there's an entire wikipedia article devoted to this.
So I've been saying it wrong my whole life. Damn.

Posted
Less Than Jake - Greased
A New Found Glory - From the Screen to Your Stereo
Violent World: A Tribute to the Misfits
Take Warning: Songs of Operation Ivy
Goldfinger - Darrin's Coconut Ass
These are the cover albums that I grew up on and enjoy. In my humble opinion, covers are meant to be fun and not taken too seriously, which I believe is true for these albums.
