  1. Superunknown goes for silly money. Absolute cheapest I've seen that is $50 + shipping. Down on the Upside is similarly silly. Ultramega OK, Louder than Love and Badmotorfinger are much easier to obtain, as is King Animal (of course). I've heard of folks picking up the Telephantasm box set (the huge one, with all the bells and whistles) for $30 odd via Best Buy and Hot Topic....

Thanks for the reply. I got a hold of Ultramega and Badmotorfinger pretty easily, for sure. You're absolutely right though, unfortunately, the two "big" albums go for totally ridiculous amounts. There are dudes trying to get $300 for Superunknown! I'd kill to have one, but that's just in a different stratosphere than I.

I've gotta look into that boxset, actually haven't even heard of it! I heard sometime last may they were releasing a mini-lp boxset of ALL their stuff, but i'm not sure that ever happened. Thanks again

  2. Sent you a PM last night, just wanted to make sure you got it.  I believe I have it on CD, but it's such a great record.  Whoever gets it won't be disappointed.

Seriously to whoever gets this- you're hearing a band that influenced a ton of younger bands! Chino from Deftones consistently references hum and specifically You'd Prefer an Astronaut as being a huge part of their signature sound. Fantastic band, ahead of their time and criminally underrated

  3. Have you heard anything from the guys in Cassino about their feelings on the success of this second pressing? I'm really hoping to hear Sounds of Salvation has a chance at being pressed, surely the reception would be equal to, or greater than this amazing second press of Kingprince. For all our sakes and the sake of good, honest music, find a way to make it happen please!

  4. It's dissappointing reading the Modern Vinyl interview to hear his take on getting it pressed. I mean, count me in for NEW Cassino getting pressed. But also I'm a fan of consistency and it would irk me to have a hole in their vinyl discography. Especially with that hole being arguably their best album, as shamrock said. Also, the pre SoS demos have so much feeling and for me would be well worth owning on physical. Still among the most played songs in my iTunes library.

This about sums it up for me, as well.

Add me to this list as well. Managed to order Kingprince in cream and super anxious to get it! I really connected with SoS when it first came out, and I know I'd personally be beyond thrilled to see it pressed
