Good to know! Would be cool if there were a few random test presses thrown in with orders placed through MxPx's webstore. Just a thought.

i have no idea what they plan on doing with the test presses i'm sending them. that's their decision.

is there a way to get the slipmat without the package deal? i don't really want the t-shirt but i would kill for the slipmat

Yeah I'm not surprised about that. Not trying to be a downer or anything but I'm surprised they pressed 2000 copies of this. The black version, along with a few of the other variants I would guess, will be around and on sale for a long time. There just aren't that many MxPx vinyl-buying fans out there, in my opinion. I would LOVE to be proved wrong, however.

imo, it's a really good record. lots of fast songs, lost of melody, like the older stuff with way better production.

no, tank doesn't own the rights. it's not even a 'rights' issue. it's more or less a logistics issue.

touring will be the mxpx all-stars. i think yuri is pretty much out for any touring outside of one-off shows because of family obligations, and tom right now is working in japan so i don't know if and when all three will be on the road together again. all three recorded the new record, and it sounds awesome. the first five song are all under two and half minutes long and are fast as fuck. on a side note, stephen egerton from the descendents mixed 'plans within plans', and it sounds great.

In 1995, the first punk CD I bought was "Teenage Politics" by MXPX. I've been a fan, albeit a disappointed fan for the past six or seven years, but a fan ever since. I will buy this. It will have at the minimum two or three good songs and I'll just reminiscence about being in high school listening to LIG and SGTWTB.

Does the most limited vinyl "exclusive to the band" mean they'll sell them on their website or tour?

i'm pretty sure it'll be available on their webstore, and most likely they'll bring copies on the road with them as well.

i think jumpstart had hinted at something on par with the 10'th anniversary but nothing concrete.

wow, took forever to get this one completed. between a mix up with the lacquers and which plant this record was going to be pressed at and the fact that united's plating was down for almost all of november and december, this record took entirely too long to press. we'd like to think it was worth it!

first pressing of 300 was done on red/blue split colored vinyl (100) and black (200). comes with hand printed inserts and a digital download with two additional songs.

i'm not going to sit here an say this dude didn't or shouldn't have gotten an email back. it should have been taken care of, and if it wasn't i apologize, but one email in regards to an order versus talking shit on a msgboard? that means you really don't care about your order all that much, media mail or not, or you need to look into other means of communication besides this or any msgboard. our email addresses are quite public, as well as a contact phone number, FB, and twitter. we do our best to respond, whether it's any of these. we can't hang out on every msgboard on the net, and i certainly can't give a customer a tracking number for shipments sent via media mail when that option isn't available to us from the us postal service.

also, for the record i know jeremy arglye was just taking a piss on this thread because he's a good friend. he's had his record for a bit now even though the canadian post office took a giant dump on this preorder shipment, not to mention the mix up at the pressing plant.

also, for those of you that are wondering, i'm still trying to get a hold of the 7"s that the crudes labels were pressed on. like we said before, whether we can get a hold of them isn't our decision, but if we do, which we're still trying to do, anyone that preordered will get one for free.

yeah, that makes a lot of sense. none of those labels have ever had shit talked on them for one or two people on this board being pissed cuz they didn't get their record. grow up, and stop using media mail as a shipping option if you want someone to actually track your package.

what special note are you talking about? we never said you'd get a special note. we did say you'd get a limited record if we could get them, or a discount code via email, but nothing that said we'd send you a special note.
