  1. Detroit area record store UHF has come into possession of 7,000 – 8,000 records from the collection of the late, great J Dilla. The records are currently on sale at the store. The first batch was made available to the public this past weekend on Record Store Day. Jeff Bubeck, the owner of UHF in Royal Oak, MI, acquired the collection from an abandoned storage unit in Clinton Township last month.

Sorry if it's been posted already, this story is pretty interesting.

  2. In Philly R5 books a lot of venues but I'm not sure how hard it actually is to get booked by them but on their FAQ page they have all the info to make an attempt at it:

    http://www.r5productions.com/faq

If that doesn't work you can try:

Awesome, thanks for the heads up!

    See you in Chicago.

Sounds like a plan! Can't wait!

if you were up to toronto, i may be able to help. good luck!

Maybe later this year? We'd have to acquire passports and whatnot. Would be fun!

Are you looking to fill the dates with a sad face and ???'s ?

If you are I might be able to help with the July 2nd date. Appleton WI has a decent punk scene and has a handful of venues that might work. Plus just about in the middle of the Milwaukee date and Minneapolis date. If you are looking to fill those dates let me know I'll make a few calls and see what some of the local people who book shows have to say.

We're really trying to have a good rest/drive day every now and then. The cities we picked aren't set in stone, and we have no problem changing a city on any date as long as it's on our general route in accordance with the next one, so any help is greatly appreciated! Let me know what you hear! and thanks!!!!!

For Chicago Lollapalooza is August 3rd through 5th. That might affect things a little bit.

And for Milwaukee Summerfest is June 27th-July 1st / July 3rd-8th.

Thanks for the heads up! We can switch a few things around there. Appreciate it!!

  3. do che's lounge in tucson, az

Will be sending them an email today, thanks buddy!

tom is one of my best friends, and i'm incredibly happy and proud to be putting out some of his music.

"Okay, Awesome." (one of the songs on AIR-002) may be my favorite song he's ever written, and considering i've been listening to his songs for almost 5 years now, and he's been putting out music for more than 7, i think that's a decently big statement.

we would all really appreciate it if you could help out with a show, or with some contact info of somebody who can. if you want to pick up the split, please do so when they come through town! or feel free to check out www.artisticintegrityrecords.com to stay updated with all of my releases. lots of big things coming in the next 3 months...

    I'm flattered ;D Thanks Dan! <3

    http://noladiy.org/

I don't know much about the New Orleans scene, but that's the site to check.

Contacted a handful of people. You have no idea what a huge help this is!

  5. All ages or will you also play 21+ venues?

We'd prefer all ages venues, but not completely against age restrictions.

I possibly have a contact in Lincoln, NE for July 30 but I'm not sure if they do the booking for the venue anymore so I'll check that out. And if not you should check out Knickerbockers in Lincoln.

Awesome! Please shoot me an email if you hear anything.

  7. If it weren't for the 7"s I would probably cancel my order.

On a side note: when MTS put out No Harm Done's "Escape" I contacted RJ in hopes of grabbing a test press to complete my collection. We emailed a few times back and forth, then I never heard anything back from him again. He claimed that he had offers over $100 for them which is probably bullshit considering there are tons of copies left of the album.
