  1. The Nun t-shirt looks amazing, I'm loving the poster and album art, and it's a thrill to see all this excitement for SHARKS ///. Just ordered the bundle!

Not trying to thread hijack, just wanted to let new board members know that we still have packages up for the Shallow Waters 10" and the SHARKS/Northern Towns 2X7" (with two originals and a Wedding Present cover that aren't on The Joys Of Living). Available here: http://swaggercityrecords.storenvy.com/

Can't wait to see the lads stateside with Social D & Chuck, and of course all summer on Warped.

  2. We are excited to announce that SHARKS' debut EP Shallow Waters will soon be available as a 10" (200 on purple, 300 white). Ordering info coming soon. Keep an eye on http://www.swaggercityrecords.com as well as our myspace (myspace.com/swaggercityrecords) and twitter (twitter.com/swaggercity) for more info over the next week or so.

SHARKS recently launched a photo blog documenting their travels and lives. Check it out here: http://travelsunderground.blogspot.com/

If you haven't yet, give them a listen at http://www.myspace.com/sharksuk

Color vinyl of the Northern Towns/SHARKS double split 7" still available at: http://www.swaggercityrecords.bigcartel.com

  3. It's on Swagger City Records. It's an awsome record

Thanks for the kind words. We're very happy to hear you're into it.

A full album stream should be making its way to Vinyl Collective shortly, but in the meantime everyone can give them a listen at http://www.myspace.com/northerntowns

Also, a split double 7" with SHARKS /// from the U.K. and Northern Towns is about to go into production and we're quite excited for everyone to hear these tracks. Give SHARKS /// a listen at: http://www.myspace.com/sharksuk

  4. I'm really excited for more details to emerge about these 7 Seconds projects. A few years back I drove 4 hours to see them, slept on my friends couch a couple of hours, drove 4 hours straight to work. It was unequivocally worth it. I'm really happy to hear Lifeline is going to be involved with their anniversary stuff. The label always comes correct.

Also, quite happy to hear more MLIW and special Suicide File stuff is available. Two of the best bands to ever do it.

The above is the link to pre-order the Northern Towns Good As Gold 10". We couldn't be happier with how this release sounds and looks. All copies include a digital download and fold-over insert. 100 on gold w/ light white swirl and 400 on black.

Northern Towns will have these available at the Cheap Sex reunion show at the Knitting Factory LA this Sunday August 9th as well as at the Casbah in San Diego on Wednesday August 12th. Make sure to get there early as they will have gold copies.

Next up for Northern Towns is a split double 7" with the stellar Sharks (http://www.myspace.com/sharksuk) from the UK.

Thanks for the support and we hope you love this record as much as we do!

  6. Thanks for the kind words about Bastards of Young Virgil. We’re all really excited this tour came together as it did and the tour 7” is the icing on the cake.

Chris (xunspokenliesx) posts here regularly and has been singing Bastards of Young’s praises for a while, but as a longtime lurker of the board I figured this split 7” announcement was as good a time as any to start posting.

If you enjoy their stuff, the material from their split with Wolves & Thieves is awesome and available in the VC webstore. Tunes and tour dates at myspace.com/youngbastards

Hope to see some of you at the Sacto and SF dates.

Never listened to Bastards of Young until seeing them on this split. Ended up buying the split and the split with Wolves and Thieves. Really look forward to more stuff from them.

Awesome. Thanks for the support. We hope you enjoy it. We've been in love with Bastards of Young since we first heard them and are incredibly excited for this tour.

  8. Also, if anyone has a CD of the first mix of Breathing In they are looking to sell, hit me up with a PM or post in this thread. That was the first version I heard and I slept on picking it up when they were down to the last few copies. I have a nostalgic love of that version.

  9. I'm assuming the Daydream Disaster collection LP that was talked about a long time ago is never coming to fruition, huh? I recall you mentioning they were supposed to end up in the studio to record or re-record some tracks. Did that ever happen?

I loved these guys so much and am glad I got to see them when I was living in Ohio--I drove to Detroit to catch them as well. They are way underrated. I really wish I could make it to the final show. Is it getting filmed?
