  1. It's the tables lack of counterweight. Tape a quarter to the top of the cart and it'll fix the problem, but honestly those tables are basically toys and will ruin all your records. The quarter method will ruin them faster but you'll see that it's not the record that's fucked up.

Was worried this wouldn't fix it but you're right, no skips to be found. Now to another issue, I don't want to ruin my records, especially TOYPAJ, are there any similar turntables that are better? I essentially bought this one cause it was my first one and not extremely expensive for a college student

  2. Does anyone else's copy of Neighborhoods skip an obnoxious amount of times on Heart's All Gone? My copy skips throughout the entire song, so much so that it only took me about a minute to listen to the track from beginning to end. Neither record is warped at all but they both skip a ton. Bummer.

Yea definitely agree with the guys saying clean it, just tested mine and it was fine.

  3. <s>Maybe one of you record veterans can help me out here. I bought a record player today so I could spin some records from my new collection but I've been getting a weird noise when I play my records. It's kind of like the sound when you would play an audio clip backwards, slow and distorted, but the song is well, going forward. It happened on 4 separate records already, so I'm assuming it's the player. Any thoughts?</s>

**Never mind turns out the surface my player wasn't necessarily "flat" enough. Player on floor = records sound fine.
