Single Player's Sean Neumann had this to say about the song, "TV Theme,"

    Quote

“There was a point to making ‘TV Theme’ the first track on the album because it perfectly sums up what a Single Player song is. It foreshadows the soon-to-be obvious fact that all the songs are short and to the point, but it also dives straight into the theme of the album as a whole.”

  4. After releasing two well received tapes, the Campaign based power pop band, Single Player is back with two new songs as a part of their split 7" with the twee-pop band Nectar.

Single Player is known for songs being over before they begin but their catchy hooks and structure reminiscent of Guided by Voices and accents in the same vein as Pixies. While Nectar plays finds major influence in bands like Cub andTiger Trap.
